Patrick Muino
Patrick is a patent attorney who joined the firm in September 2009. Patrick’s practice focuses on patent portfolio development, with emphasis on patent preparation and prosecution in the electronics and software fields. He has extensive experience with integrated circuit design, telecommunications and networking, signal processing and coding, and computer architecture and storage systems.
During law school, Patrick participated in Colorado Law's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. As a member of the Clinic, he helped counsel entrepreneurs regarding Intellectual Property, licensing, and business planning.
Before becoming a patent attorney, Pat was an integrated circuit design engineer for Conexant Systems for more than five years where he designed and developed hardware and software for consumer electronic devices such as cable modems, cable set-top boxes, and video decoders.
Patrick has several years of patent experience including the following technologies:
- Telecommunication technologies including network architectures, switches, routers, call processors, and enhanced service platforms
- Wireless technologies including network architectures, base stations, antennas, and mobile communication units
