Stephanie L. Kosik is a Litigation Paralegal & Legal Billing Specialist at Setter Roche Smith & Shellenberger, LLP.  She began her legal services in 2014 and initially joined the firm in January 2018.  With a high attention to detail, Stephanie ensures that each case she manages is handled respectfully and compassionately.  Along with her vast knowledge of the legal industry, she also supports the firm’s Financial Operations. She oversees and manages hundreds of client accounts as well as billing, collections, and reporting.  Stephanie also ensures compliance with the Colorado Lawyer Trust Account ("COLTAF") program.

When Stephanie is not working (or studying) she is an avid volunteer within her community and has graduated from several Citizens Academies, such as:  City of Thornton Citizens Police Academy (2014), City of Thornton Citizens Fire Academy (2015), City of Thornton Community Emergency Response Training (2015), 17th Judicial District Citizens Attorney’s Office Academy (2015), Town of Erie Community Police Academy (2022), and the FBI Denver Citizens Academy (expected graduation date 2023).  In 2018, she became a Court Appointed Special Advocate ("CASA") for the 17th Judicial District and was appointed by (retired) District Judge Michael Goodbee. In 2022, Stephanie was elected to serve as a Board Member for the Thornton Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association ("TCPAAA").


Stephanie is a fourth-generation Coloradan and raises her family in Broomfield County.  In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping/boating, riding motorcycles and going to the shooting range.   At every opportunity she desires to be on the coast and diving for seashells.
