Katie Plese is a patent engineer who joined the firm in 2025.  She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace engineering.  Before entering law, Katie worked as a propulsion development engineer at Ursa Major, where she gained hands-on experience in design and product development for military propulsive systems.  She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of patent law prior to beginning law school in 2027.
