Malorie Stick

Malorie Stick is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Colorado Law School, expected to graduate in May 2026. As an enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, Malorie is deeply committed to advocating for marginalized populations, with a focus on women and Tribal communities. Before entering law school, Malorie earned dual degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, graduating magna cum laude from Oklahoma State University.


At Colorado Law, Malorie has held leadership roles such as President of the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA). She also worked as a Student Attorney and Client Lead in the American Indian Law Clinic, where she worked directly on legal matters affecting Tribal members, governments, and communities. In addition, Malorie has supported academic scholarship as a research assistant in the law school’s American Indian Law Program.


In summer 2025, Malorie will join Setter Roche Smith & Shellenberger LLP as a Summer Associate. Her legal interests include family law, juvenile law, and tribal law, and she is committed to advancing justice and equity through her work. Outside of her legal work, Malorie has volunteered with the CU Animal Legal Defense Fund and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. She enjoys music, spending time outdoors, and caring for animals in her free time.
