Steven Nicorata is a patent agent registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Steven has experience working with clients ranging from small businesses and startups to large universities and corporations. While working at Setter Roche Smith & Shellenberger, LLP, Steven has drafted and prosecuted patent applications and performed landscape mapping in numerous technology areas, including electrical and computer arts including both hardware and software, power electronics, mechanical devices, and medical equipment, among others.

Prior to working in law, Steven worked as an information technology consultant at a Big Four accounting firm where he implemented enterprise resource planning applications at clients of various sizes and managed IT and business portfolios of several companies.
Steven is currently pursuing his J.D. degree (expected May 2022) from The Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 2016.
